Marie T. Murphy, Advanced Practice RN - Midwife and NP received her early nursing and midwifery education in her birth country of Ireland and later in
Scotland. She has practiced midwifery in various culturally diverse locales, such as Abu Dhabi, London, Perth, and Saudi Arabia. Her travels permitted her a unique perspective in understanding and developing respect for the cultural backgrounds of women around the globe.
Marie came to the US in 1991 and worked in the Labor & Delivery unit at Mesa General Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and later at North Hills Hospital in North
Richland Hills, Texas. She was granted US citizenship in 1996.
Today, Marie partners with Dr. Patrick Allen to provide high-quality gynecological care to women in the Richland Hills, TX area. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology and all aspects of women’s health care.
Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Patrick Allen understands the needs of his patience in his local community. He is dedicated his professional work to providing superior patient care to his patients. Dr. Allen has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery specifically robotic assisted surgery as well as Health and Wellness including hormone replacement therapy. He was instrumental in the initiation of the robotics program at Medical City North Hills Hospital.
He received his bachelor of science and mechanical engineering from Texas A&M in 1981 and his Doctor of Medicine in 1995 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.
He is a Diplomat on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He maintains licensure in Texas and Oklahoma and is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
He is a lifelong swimmer, is active in his parish church, and is married with three children.
